Is Chris Paul Playing Tonight vs Nuggets?: Suns Star’s Injury Report Ahead of Game 4 Remains Dissapointing
It took some time, but the Phoenix Suns finally have a foothold in this series. Despite the lack of Chris Paul, the franchise managed to take game 3 against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets, with the lion’s share of the credit going to Kevin Durant and Devin Booker’s twin offensive explosions during this game. However, winning one game isn’t enough, especially with the series still standing against them at 2-1. To turn the tide here, the franchise needs to also win game 4, something the availability of Chris Paul would affect massively. However, after picking up an injury in Game 2, will the Suns’ point guard recover in time for this pivotal Game 4? Or will he be stuck watching from the sidelines once again?
Chris Paul’s injury update does not inspire a whole lot of confidence
During Game 2, Chris Paul suddenly pulled up in the middle of trying to make a layup, immediately holding his groin once he got down on the ground. This was later ruled to be a groin strain by the Phoenix Suns, and they soon released this tweet on the matter.
INJURY UPDATE: Further evaluation has confirmed that Chris Paul has sustained a left groin strain. He is considered day to day.

With Paul having been labeled as ‘day-to-day’ at the time, it gave fans some hope that perhaps he could return in time for Game 3. However, that just couldn’t happen. So what about Game 4? Well, as per ESPN, Chris Paul has been ruled out for this contest as well, as he will need some more time to rest up and recuperate from his groin strain. There has been no timeline issued by the franchise on his return. However, it is expected to be soon enough.
What were Kevin Durant and Devin Booker’s stats to grab their massive win in game 3 against the Denver Nuggets?
In 43 minutes, Kevin Durant recorded 39 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists, and 2 blocks, while shooting 38.7% from the field, 20% from three, and 87.5% from the free-throw line.
On the other hand, Devin Booker played 42 minutes, recording 47 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block. Additionally, he shot 80% from the field, 62.5% from three, and 100% from the free-throw line. (Stats as per StatMuse).
