Labeling Himself 'Most Dominant', Shaquille O'Neal Shares Controversial Ranking Placing Deandre Jordan Over Himself

One of the most unique physical specimens in NBA history, Shaquille O’Neal made his bread and butter by asserting command over the paint. Considering himself to be one of the most dominant players ever, Shaq has shattered several backboards in his 19-year-long career. The Big Aristotle also lodged a grand total of 2,626 dunks. And while there are several notable ones, the Diesel putting Chris Dudley on a poster has to be among the most iconic of all time. However, despite being considered one of the most disrespectful dunks in league history, a reel shared by the Lakers legend ranked it a mere #2.

One of the greatest big men ever, Shaq sits 7th on the all-time scoring list. Wanting to be regarded as the ‘most dominant ever’, O’Neal regrets not surpassing Wilt Chamberlain on the esteemed chart to this day. According to the 2000 MVP, had he finished his career overshadowing Wilt the Stilt, he would’ve been the undisputed pick for the ‘most dominant ever’.

However, with injuries ending his illustrious career, Shaq trails Chamberlain by a whopping 2,823 points.

Shaquille O’Neal lauds Deandre Jordan’s dunk by sharing a reel on Instagram

Shaq often shares memes, reels, and other graphics on his Instagram story.

This time, the Hall-Of-Famer shared a reel posted by Stoner Sports Network that ranked the “Top 7 Most Disrespectful Dunks!” The list included Dwyane Wade’s poster on Anderson Varejao, JR Smith’s dunk against the Spurs, Blake Griffin’s vicious slam all over Kendrick Perkins, Shawn Kemp’s iconic one-hand dunk vs the Warriors, and even Vince Carter’s Dunk of Death.

Despite his dunk on Dudley not making the cut for the number 1 spot on that list, the 7-foot-1 analyst posted the reel on his story, appreciating DeAndre Jordan’s monster slam on Brandon Knight. You can find the screenshot in the tweet by ‘tragicpatek‘ below.

O’Neal is known for giving himself a lot of credit. However, it seems rather bizarre, yet beautiful, witnessing the 51-year-old appreciating Jordan’s iconic poster.

Shaq teared up when Derrick Coleman put him on a poster

As ruthless as he was, the 4-time NBA champ has put most of the defenders on a poster. As surprising as it sounds, there have even been a few instances where Shaq has been on the receiving end.

Unfortunately for the big man, the one time Derrick Coleman dunked all over him, his mother was in attendance. Years after the incident occurred, “Superman” revealed having tears in his eyes immediately after. You can watch him talk about it in the Instagram post by Huska Pijuska below.

To make things worse, Coleman embarrassed Shaq with the finger wag. This incident continues to haunt O’Neal forever.
