"LeBron James, That's Not Michael Jordan-esque!": Skip Bayless Goes After Lakers Star for His 'Winner' Speech in Miami

The Los Angeles Lakers, after almost fumbling the Play-in game against a Rudy Gobert and Jaden McDaniels-less Wolves, have managed to get themselves to the Playoffs to match up with the Memphis Grizzlies in the first round. And believe it or not, Skip Bayless looks happy about it.

A 38-year-old LeBron James put up an efficient 30-point performance along with 10 rebounds, 6 assists, a steal, and a couple of blocks to get a 108-102 win over the short-handed Timberwolves side.

And yet, his biggest hater believes his team is winning the first round against the Grizzlies in 6 games.

Skip Bayless predicts Lakers to beat Grizzlies in 6

Nobody in the world would have been happier if James and the Lakers lost this Play-in game and had to play another one to get to the Playoffs than the 71-year-old Fox Sports analyst.

However, just after the game, Bayless sent a Tweet out which would come as a surprise for the NBA community.

“LAKERS IN 6 OVER MEMPHIS,” wrote Bayless.

Now, whether he actually believes or he is manifesting it so that the Lakers get beaten by the Warriors in the second round if the Dubs win the first round against the Kings. We wouldn’t until after the second round.

But one thing that is as certain as a day is that this man is never going to side with James. That’s not how he has earned his bread ($17 million worth, to be exact) through all these years.

Can LeBron’s team actually do it?

Not having Steven Adams and Brandon Clarke for the rest of the season had already put a dent in the Grizzlies’ contention this season, now, they have a LeBron James problem to deal with.

Even with a light frontcourt, that will probably have Kenneth Lofton Jr. to add to the holes in the squad, Dillon Brooks has taken the challenge to upset the King this season.

Will he, Ja Morant, Desmond Bane, and Jaren Jackson Jr, be on the same page when these two teams take on each other in FedExForum for Game 1, on Sunday? We will have to wait and watch.
