LeBron James tweets about 6 children being killed by gun violence in the US

LeBron James has once again pointed out how gun violence is taking away innocent lives. He recently tweeted about 6 children losing their lives.

Three time NBA champion LeBron James is one of the few players who does not stay silent on social issues. James, for long now has been vocal about the racial injustice and police brutality that the Black community in America is facing from years.

He also has been extending support and the necessary help in the ongoing “Black lives Matter” movement.

LeBron James’s twitter post highlighting gun violence

LeBron James shared an article on Twitter about 6 children being brutally killed because of gun violence in the US. He expressed his utter disbelief that such stuff was still happening in the country.

He also extended support and prayer to the families that have lost innocent children.

James in his twitter post wrote “So so damn sad man!!! They are just innocent, beautiful, strong kids! What’s wrong with people?!?!?!? My thoughts and prayers goes out to each one of their families and May they REST IN PARADISE! #Kings #Queens”.

LeBron extending support to fellow athletes

Not only for the society, but Lakers star has supported his fellow athletes in recent times. He came out in support of Bubba Wallace (American Race Car driver) on the “Noose” incident in June and has been standing firm with Colin Kaepernick (Former NFL Player) for his stand against the racial discrimination in America.

LeBron James has tried at every point in his career to bring a good change in society with the platform that he has at his disposal. Hopefully, this plea to end any sort of gun violence resonates a positive change in American society.
