The likes of Deni Avdija, Tyrese Haliburton and Killian Hayes are some of the other prospects to garner tons of attention. All 3 of them are capable playmakers, while Haliburton is also a lights out shooter. Hayes and Avdija are international prospects with the ability to run great transition plays.
Draft nights have had some of the most happening trades taking place in the past. The Mavericks made the steal of the decade on draft night by moving up 2 spots to pick Luka Doncic in 2018. It remains to be seen whether a player or team can replicate this sort of success.
