'James Harden is just helping local businesses': Rockets star spotted violating covid-19 protocols by partying in public once again ahead of NBA season opener

An impeccable source claims that the Celtics and Raptors are ready to part with their young stars in order to pursue a trade for James Harden.

Harden and the Rockets are not the same as they were last season. Till last season, Harden had always asked for his team to trade and better themselves so he can compete in the playoffs.

This pffseason, he asked for himself to be traded away. When the Rockets made it clear that they would do anything but that, Harden acted up by missing a major chunk of the training camp.

Harden is back, but sources close to the team have made it clear that the team is looking for a trade opportunity for them. They’d prefer a young star in exchange for Harden, or someone who can steer the team.

Raptors and Celtics frontrunners in the race for James Harden

While the Sixers are assumed to be the most possible destination for James Harden, they might not be the frontrunners in the race anymore. An ESPN morning show host in Houston claims that ‘impeccable’ sources have said that the Raptors and Celtics might be ahead of the Sixers as of now.

If we analyze the two trades, both of these proposed trades are for forwards, in exchange for a guard. While those trades might give the Rockets a key star forward, it would open a big vacuum in the guard spot.

For the Celtics, this trade cements their backcourt. For the Raptors, this move would be disastrous, as they would end up looking like the 2020 All-Guard Rockets. While these are all just rumors right now, it would be interesting to see what direction the James Harden move takes.

As for right now, Harden and the Rockets open their season on 23rd December, against the Thunder.
