‘See y’all in 2022 if James Harden joins Nets’: Former Lakers star predicts LeBron James and co. will concede NBA Title
With all the rumors about a Harden trade to the Nets swirling, we heard Josh Hart chipping in with his take on the possibility.
Adding Harden to the roster would make the Nets the de facto superteam of the league today. They have already acquired Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving as free agents in the summer of 2019. Irving has played 30 games for his hometown team thus far, while KD is yet to debut with an Achilles tear recovery on.
There is no doubt that putting 2 MVPs like KD and Harden alongside Kyrie Irving would make them one of the historically talented teams in the league. But if such a deal is to go through, the Nets will need to gut a lot of their squad depth and venture into luxury tax.
Josh Hart believes ‘it’s going to be a wrap’ if Harden leaves Rockets for Nets
While we’ve seen even better superteams in the past, it is probably over for the rest of the league if we’re to believe the former Lakers star. The 25-year old took to Twitter to suggest that we we should all simply hand the Larry O’Brien trophy to the Nets if Harden moves to New York.
“I was already over 2020 but if James goes to Brooklyn then I’ll see ya’ll 2022 cause they got 2021.”
Josh Hart would be a little worried about his former franchise, the Lakers, who too are trying to improve their roster. However, competing against a big 3 of KD, Kyrie and Harden could prove a little too much for an ageing LeBron James.
Dennis Schroder does add some firepower to the Lakers, but competing against a seasoned trio of KD, Kyrie and Harden would need a

All 3 of these superstars are more than capable of taking up any role within an offense. Backed by the basketball brains of Steve Nash, they would be a handful for any team looking to beat in 4 games out of 7.
In an NBA playoff game, it only needs one of these 3 to go off for the game to be curtains. All of NBA Twitter knows this, which is why there is a nervous excitement about this move. All eyes are going to be on the Nets over the coming few days.
