Aaron Rodgers

Right from his infamous vaccine lie, 9/11 conspiracy theories, and adoration for ayahuasca, Aaron Rodgers always figures something out to ignite a new controversy. While most of the stuff he says is seldom believable, a couple of years back, he had ignited a relatively mild storm. Before getting set for a regular season game back in 2021, the back-to-back MVP award winner, who is known for his love of controversies, didn’t feel very comfortable. Cause of discomfort, the bed he slept in.

Although the star QB and the Packers ended up registering a comfortable win against the Washington Football Team by 24-10 in the said matchup, the signal caller made it absolutely cleat that his back did give him a very hard time hours before the contest went underway.

When an uncomfortable bed gave Aaron Rodgers a hard time

Before the game, the former Super Bowl winner noticed that his back was feeling a little stiff. Hence, in order to get it fixed, he got in touch with athletic trainer Naye Weir and chiropractor Mike Zoelle.

While speaking to ESPN, he said, “My back was a little stiff Saturday, and maybe you guys know this or don’t know this, but there’s an antiquated procedural thing in our league where the most important night of sleep, we stay at a hotel. And I don’t want to blame it on the hotel — it’s a nice hotel — but my bed at the house that I’m sleeping in every other night of my time here in Green Bay would probably be a little bit of a better option, I think, and that’s just my opinion.”

Despite experiencing pain in his back, he played just fine, going 27 of 35 for 274 yards with three touchdowns. The quarterback was thankful that the trainer and chiropractor could help him on time. “I woke up this morning and my back was killing me,” Rodgers had stated.

The star QB went on to thank Naye and Mike for helping him relieve the pain which eventually enabled him to win the contest.

Rodgers makes his first appearance at Jets OTA

Since the 2021 season, Rodgers has come a long way and is now the starting quarterback of the New York Jets. Recently, the 39-year-old showed up in New York in order to participate in the full-season program. Although as ProFootballTalk reported, the QB may miss some of the sessions, he did attend the first OTA of the 2023 season on Monday.

Even though the quarterback knows the offense implemented by the new coordinator, Nathaniel Hackett, Aaron does not know all of his new teammates, and there are also new players who don’t know him personally. Therefore, in order to gel with each other, the OT session provides them with a great opportunity.

Given the Jets’ challenging divisional opponents and demanding schedule this year, it is crucial for everyone to develop a good chemistry with one another. Therefore, it is a positive development that Rodgers attended the team’s first day. If he continues to remain with the team, Jets’ chances to win during the upcoming season will increase massively.
