Aaron Rodgers Drives an $8 Million Worth Mercedes-Benz ‘Exelero’? Inside the $200 Million QB’s Odd & Expensive Car Collection

Aaron Rodgers

Green Bay Packers Aaron Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL. The only other QB to match or exceed his greatness (yet), is the legendary Tom Brady. What’s more, just like his Tampa Bay counterpart, he is also one of the highest-paid athletes in the NFL. So the natural question arises: what does an athlete worth over $200 million, drive?

In Rodgers’ case, the collection is rather odd, but still glamorous. In total, he has 4 cars, and that list includes some heavyweights. The first on the list is a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro, which he won after beating the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV. He received the car for his dazzling performance in the Super Bowl, and for winning the MVP.

The next on the block is an “Aaron Rodgers Signature Edition” Ford F-150. This one came into his collection after he did a commercial with the motor vehicle giants. Reportedly, the company was so impressed with the commercial’s success, that they created this limited edition in his honor, and sent the first one to him!

The third, and possibly the crown jewel in his collection, is the Mercedes-Benz Maybach “Exelero”. Although this is not a verified fact, the rumors about him owning this behemoth are pretty strong. The car is worth over $8 million dollars, and one can be rightfully curious as to why he has never flaunted this beauty out in the open. Maybe he is just trying to be humble?

Aaron Rodgers once got his dream car as a gift… kind of… not exactly

Being Aaron Rodgers’ teammate is a truly rewarding experience, both figuratively and literally. Apart from the wealth of knowledge he dishes out to his new and old teammates, he is also known for showering them with expensive gifts. One such gifting spree ends up with him getting probably the best car in his collection. No, wait. Best car in the world. if it can be called a car, that is.

In 2017, Rodgers decided to give his hard-working offensive line a gift. He bought them all brand-new Polaris ATVs, each worth over $20,000. Later, Rodgers goes on the Pat McAfee Show to complain (jokingly) about how he’s never received a good gift from his teammates. So offensive tackle David Bakhtiari decided to get Rodgers his dream car: an Aston Martin Vanquish. Only, he didn’t.

Bakhtiari gifted Rodgers a golf cart, customized to look like an Aston Martin Vanquish, and decked with accessories. Leather seats (with a “12” on the driver’s side), an “NFL MVP” sticker, and a custom numberplate that read “LUVN69”. A reference to Bakhtiari’s number, no doubt. Reportedly, Rodgers loves this gift, and has been spotted time and again riding around Lambeau Field in his “Aston Martin”.

Aaron Rodgers did not have the best season this year. Even after everyone had given up on the Packers making the playoffs, he continued to lead his team to an inspirational comeback. A comeback that ended with them coming heartbreakingly close to a playoff berth. With the Packers losing their final game to the Detroit Lions 16-20, their playoff spot went to the Seattle Seahawks.

Rumors are already circulating about Rodgers leaving Lambeau Field. Whether his plans include him retiring or joining another team, is still a mystery. Will we see the legendary “Aston Martin” make the rounds of a new stadium next season? Or is it going to become his personal ride around a massive, retirement mansion in a rich neighborhood?
