Tennessee offensive tackle Darnell Wright started as someone who was not seen as a legitimate prospect. However, the 21-year-old has well and truly turned the tables around. Scouts are now seeing him as a Day 1 starter in the NFL. Teams like the Bills are looking to add him to their roster. As his draft prospect is improving, his popularity is also rapidly increasing in the league.

Who is Darnell Wright dating?
The offensive tackle for the Tennessee Volunteers attended Huntington High School. When he went on to play for the University of Tennessee, he was considered a five-star recruit.
When he was a freshman in 2019, Wright played in 11 games and recorded seven starts. As a result, he was named to the 2019 SEC All-Freshman Team. He made nine starts in 2020 and 13 starts in 2021.

Wright improves his draft stock in style

The turning point for Wright came in the Vols’ season opener against the Ball State. After playing at left in the 2021 season, he went back to the right. Wright played with greater footwork and technique this past fall as a result of the interaction of time, experience, work, and positional return.
Now that he is expected to be a first-round pick, Darnell has a litany of suitors ahead of him. He has 14 Top-30 teams who will visit him. Given that most prospects don’t even meet with that many people at the NFL Combine, his ranking is among the highest for any prospect.
