"Has He Tried Watching the Packers?": David Bakhtiari's Controversial Take on College Football Causes an Uproar on X

Christmas Eve has arrived, and to help us celebrate, there is a full slate of NFL games to watch on television on Sunday. The first game on Christmas Day has plenty of playoff implications, with the Packers needing a win and some help to make it in, and the Dolphins, who have lost three in a row and are currently the seventh seed, hoping not to have a major collapse.

When it comes to the Packers’ injury report, almost everyone is in good shape with the exception of David Bakhtiari. The Packers announced on December 2, 2022, that Bakhtiari would have to miss Week 13 of the 2022 season against the Chicago Bears due to an emergency appendectomy.

The rookie All-Pro, who underwent an emergency appendectomy earlier this month, missed the previous two games.

David Bakhtiari’s Injury Report

David Bakhtiari is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins. Bakhtiari wasn’t able to make it onto the practice field, and the team has listed him as doubtful to play against the Dolphins on Christmas Day.

Head coach Matt LaFleur had said on Thursday that Bakhtiari might return to practice on Friday for the first time since having an appendectomy on December 2 and that the team expects him to play again this season.

Bakhtiari has missed three games since his surgery, including this one. Due to his knee, he also missed the first two games of the season. If Bakhtiari is unable to play, rookie Zach Tom will start at left tackle for the Packers against the Dolphins.

Except for Bakhtiari, no other member of the Packers roster has an injury restriction heading into Week 16 Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur stated on Thursday that left tackle David Bakhtiari (knee, abdomen) could “possibly” practice by the end of the week. Bakhtiari, who is recovering from an appendectomy, was unable to participate in the Packers’ final practice of the week on Friday.

The Packers will have an advantage over the Dolphins in terms of injuries because they are returning home after three straight road defeats to playoff teams.
