Despite Having a $250 Million Fortune, Tom Brady Didn’t Spend a Single Dime to Buy His Aston Martin DB11
Being one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time has its own perks. Apart from enjoying professional success, seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady leads a dynamic lifestyle. He owns a collection of supercars, but he hasn’t paid for all of them.
The Patriots legend played in the NFL arena for almost 23 years before announcing his retirement in February of this year. During this tenure, he has amassed a great deal of wealth. His net worth is estimated at around $250 million, of which a major chunk comes from his brand endorsements and advertisement campaigns.
Tom Brady hasn’t paid for his Aston Martin
The veteran loves to live royale, and he never shies away from adding vintage models to his supercar collection. His Bugatti Veyron Super Sport is one of the most expensive cars in his garage. Per Sun.com, it is valued at $3 million and has marvelous features, including its capacity to hit 60mph in just 2.5 seconds. Similarly, the 8.0-liter W16 engine delivers a monstrous 1600 horsepower.
Next on the list is the first choice of every other millionaire, a Rolls Royce. The Ghost series, which is an old 2015 model, has a 6.6-liter V12 engine. As the name suggests, it is one of these vintage collections.
Meanwhile, Brady had the opportunity to sign a deal with the British high-end car manufacturer Aston Martin in 2017. As part of their promotional campaign, the automaker gifted a brand-new Aston Martin DB11.
The model is deeply associated with the sensational character of James Bond, and hence they were finding an appropriate face to represent this car. Likewise, Brady, who remained the top favorite, was chosen to promote the brand. It has a V12 engine with 600 horsepower and is equipped with a high-tech automatic transmission.
Brady has come a long way to achieve this kind of fame
It was indeed an impossible feat for a guy who was picked 199th overall in the NFL draft. From Mr. Irrelevant to the greatest quarterback of all time, the journey has been a bumpy one.
However, Brady found opportunities in challenges and climbed the ladders of success. “Both personally and professionally, I have faced challenges and sought out people who had better professional insights where I could use their experiences to learn from,” Brady said, per Forbes.
“In my young career, I doubted myself a lot. When I saw things that weren’t going my way, I thought I was the victim of circumstance. But when I changed, shifted my view and my mind to say ‘I am not a victim, why don’t I empower myself’ I could grow in ways I was struggling.” he added.
The veteran also quoted a masterpiece, something that his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen said to him a couple of years ago. The teacher appears when the student is ready. Indeed, the saying still holds great validity even though the times and pace of this human race have changed.
