Tom Cruise and Tom Brady

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had an absolute roller coaster of a season this time around. Even before the season began, they were sent aback by Rob Gronkowski’s announcement that is retiring for the second time.

Things got even worse when their superstar quarterback Tom Brady also announced his retirement. However, within weeks, Tom came back to the league but didn’t look like the same Brady.

Everyone could tell that something was not right after Brady came back to the team’s training camp after taking an unprecedented 11-day break. Moreover, as soon as the season began, it became absolutely clear that Tom’s personal life was in jeopardy.

Soon after that, Brady and Gisele parted ways and Tom’s sideline tantrums started going viral. Everything went downhill for a while but then suddenly, Brady came back to winning ways and somehow managed to guide his team to the playoffs.

Even Tom Cruise couldn’t rescue Tom Brady from a monumental defeat

In the wildcard round, Brady’s men took on the Dallas Cowboys and although it was clear that Jerry Jones’ team was favorite to win the clash, Brady fans were still hoping to see a miracle.

Alas! they had to return home dejected and disappointed as Tom’s team looked clueless against Dak’s devils. As it was a high octane clash, several celebrities were also present in the stadium to witness the contest.

Among them was Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise. Yes, the ageless man from the movies was supporting the ageless quarterback. However, Tom reportedly left the stadium before the clash could get over.

Not only him, innumerable Bucs fans had started leaving the stadium before the final quarter ended. A Twitter user posted a video of Cruise leaving the stadium and speculated that the Mission Impossible star is so done with Brady that he can’t watch the game anymore.

It feels like Tom’s time at the Bucs might be over quite soon. There are rumors that he is looking to be a part of a new franchise for the coming season. It will be interesting to see how he performs at 46.
