Aaron Rodgers and Anthony Davis

LA Lakers’ superstar center/power forward Anthony Davis is enjoying his time on the court. However, that surely wasn’t the case a few months back. The team from Los Angeles was on a 5-game losing streak in November last year. Absolutely nothing was going their way but then, Anthony got some motivation from star quarterback Aaron Rodgers and since then, he hasn’t looked back.

As it turns out, Anthony’s favorite NFL franchise, the Green Bay Packers, was also going through a really rough patch during the 2022 season. The absence of a reliable wide receiver was really hurting the franchise. However, Aaron being Aaron, revived the team from ashes and almost took them to the playoffs. Looking at his gameplay, Davis was inspired to lead from the front.

Aaron Rodgers’ heroics inspired Anthony Davis to go big this season

Quashing Lakers’ 5-game losing streak, Anthony, with a whopping 37 points and 18 rebounds, guided his unit to a massive win over the Brooklyn Nets. After the contest was over, ecstatic Anthony revealed that watching Green Bay’s heroics against the Cowboys inspired him to go big against the Nets.

Got me some motivation before the game. So I was trying to dominate, be dominant knowing that we had to get this win. Knowing that a lot of guys, especially with Bron out, a lot of guys lean on me to try to get the job done,” Davis said as per USA Today, referring to Aaron’s heroics against Dallas which ended Green Bay’s 5-game losing streak.

As far as Aaron is concerned, he threw for 224 yards and scored three touchdowns which eventually played a massive role in crushing the Cowboys. Now when Aaron is not a Packer anymore, many fans are suggesting that Davis might look to support Jets in the 2023 season in order to draw more inspiration from the 4x NFL MVP.

Davis has faced a lot of flak for being a Packers fan even when he is from Chicago. However, that didn’t stop the Lakers star from continuing to back his favorite unit. This suggests that even when Aaron isn’t in Green Bay, Anthony might still turn up in Green and Gold, if he decides to watch a football game.

LA Lakers are on a roll after a dreadful start to the season

Lakers fans are over the moon as their team has started off with a fantastic win in the Western Conference Semifinals. Despite Warriors’ Stephen Curry threatening to take game 1 away from them, the team from Los Angeles managed to keep their nerve in the final moments, all thanks to their star center Anthony Davis who went home after scoring a whopping 30 points.

The way the Lakers were struggling a while ago, even their fans were starting to loose hope. However, with a few good trades, they were able to change the fortunes of their side. Moreover, with LeBron, Davis, and D’Angelo Russell firing, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that Lakers fans now truly believe that they might end winning another championship.
