Julio Jones to Titans : A.J Brown posts public pitch to woo Julio Jones into coming to the Tennessee Titans.

A day after Julio Jones publicly announced that he is “out of” Atlanta, A.J. Brown was quick to go public with his pitch to play with his idol growing up. The Titans lost WR Corey Davis to free agency. So it’s no surprise that Brown and the Titans are salivating at the prospect of having Jones on the roster.

Julio Jones publicly announced that he wants to play for a team where he can win now. And that’s exactly what the Titans have done over the past couple of years. They made the AFC Championship game in 2019 after being the 6th seed and then won the AFC South in 2020. Plus with an offence loaded with weapons, Julio Jones in Nashville will definitely fit in perfectly.

A.J. Brown took to Twitter to recruit Julio Jones

Julio Jones is possibly one of the best players on the market in general. Players like DeAndre Hopkins also made public pitches to bring Julio Jones to town. And A.J. Brown was the latest to take a shot at recruiting the future Hall of Famer.

Titans receiver A.J. Brown, who posted a voice message to Jones’ Instagram on Tuesday selling him on the idea of joining Tennessee.

“Just come mess with your boy,” Brown said in the message. “Hey, real talk: We waiting on you over here. You say you want to win, right? We just need a couple more pieces. “Come on bro, come vibe with me, bro,” Brown said. “ … Trust me, bro. If you want to carry the load, you can carry the load. But if you get tired, you know I’ll carry you, bro.”

“You know I’m not giving my number up,” Brown continued. ” … You gonna have to rock No. 8. You already know all of this. Just come mess with our boy. Real talk. We’re waiting on you over here.”

Tennessee needs only one other star wideout to become a lethal offence. Jones (6-3, 220 pounds) and Brown (6-0, 227 pounds) would make for one of the most fearsome, physically imposing wide receiver duos in the league. And they would play secondary to Derrick Henry and his 6-foot-3 240-pound frame.

The Tennessee Titans have a great team. But the Indianapolis Colts are serious contenders for the AFC South after making upgrades to their roster. So it should be very interesting to see who come out on top come 2021
