"Miscommunication Here & There": Lamar Jackson Reveals What's Preventing His Team from Entering the End Zone at Crucial Moments

Lamar Jackson is one of the finest young quarterbacks in the NFL for a variety of reasons. His ability to just take off as a runner while holding the ball, with incredible precision at his disposal when he throws it long, makes him an absolute nightmare for opposing defenses. Even legendary linebacker Von Miller believes that the Ravens QB is one of the hardest athletes to tackle.

Jackson has everything one needs in a quarterback. His precision is top notch and when it comes to having astounding athletic abilities, he is second to none. This is exactly why fans were left truly puzzled when the Ravens were showing reluctance in giving him a massive extension deal. In the end, it all panned well for Jackson who is now set to draw a $52 Million annual salary. Moreover, after listening to what Von Miller and Maxx Crosby had to say about Jackson, even his haters would be compelled to tone down the criticism.

Von Miller showers praise on Ravens QB Lamar Jackson

In a recent episode of ‘The Von Cast,’ Von Miller and Maxx Crosby talked in detail about the quarterbacks who are just too tough to tackle even for the best of defenses and as expected, their chat started off with Lamar Jackson. “Lamar is crazy,” said Von after asking Maxx about the QB who makes life a living hell for the oppositions.

I played against Lamar last year and I one sack in a game. In my second sack, I had him on his shoulder and he like kinda jumped out and I was like bro this is crazy,” Miller stated. The conversation then shifted to Russell Wilson with Miller saying, “when he was with the Seahawks, nobody wanted to play against Russell Wilson.”

Miller added that Wilson would just keep running around again and again, ultimately finding an open guy. Maxx then interjected by saying that Kyler Murray is also very tough to tackle. He went on to add that one time, he had grabbed both of Murray’s shoulder pads, but he still ended up breaking the sack.

Maxx also showered praise on Josh Allen, calling him an absolute monster who literally dragged him for three yards when he played against him in college. However, from the entire conversation, what ended up pleasing the Ravens fans the most, is the fact that both the superstar LBs mentioned Jackson before talking about any other QB.

Lamar Jackson returns to Ravens OTAs after snubbing them last season

Clearly, things weren’t going smoothly between Jackson and Ravens’ management last year, when they decided not to offer him an extension. Post that, as reported by Baltimoreravens.com, Jackson had decided to miss the team OTAs for the 2022 season, stating that he “just wanted to stay away and just grind.”

Thankfully, Jackson made it clear this year that he isn’t going to miss out on team activities as he wants to develop a good bond with the new players in the unit. “New offense,” was Lamar’s response as per FOX, while listing the reason behind attending the activities this time.

Clearly, Jackson wants to send out a message that he is willing to do everything he can to help his unit go the distance this time around. Will he succeeded in guiding the Ravens to a Super Bowl win?
