Odell Beckham Jr. is healthy and will once again join the team after an injury-reduced season in 2020. And is excited heading into his 3rd season with the Cleveland Browns

Odell Beckham Jr. tore his ACL in a Week 7 game last year and was then available for the rest of the season. The Browns managed fine without him, finishing with an 11-5, but when he’s on the field, Beckham is a threat.
All around, the Browns are a better team with him. He’ll be excited to get back to the field too. Beckham talked about how difficult it was to watch his Browns play and not be able to help at all.

“You want to win Super Bowls.” Odell said. “I watched [my teammates] compete last year, and the one game that hurt me the most is watching Kansas City and feeling like, man, I know that I could have made one play, just something to help the team win.
The Browns lost to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional round by less than a touchdown. Which is why it must have been that much worse to be sitting on the sidelines.
“I came back for a reason,’’ he said Sunday morning at his Procamps youth football camp at Gilmour Academy here in his first interview since tearing his ACL Oct. 25th. “I feel like we have a special opportunity. I was down in Austin with Bake and seeing him a few times since then, just kicking it, hanging out. It’s just something that feels special about this team. As I said when I first got here, I wanted it to be like the Patriots.
“I think that there’s something special going on. There’s something special with this city. Watching the Bucs win a championship inspires you even more. Cleveland needs a championship, and I think that’s the goal, that’s the mentality in that building and that’s what I want to be a part of.”
Beckham also spoke about his injury recovery struggles
Beckham seems to be healed and working at his usual elite level. But he also noted how difficult it’s been to come back from the surgery in early November.
“I think people don’t really have an understanding or an idea of what it feels like, to put in every single thing, to give up offseason after offseason for hard work and then to have your season ended short for things that just happen,’’ he said.
“For me, this one felt different. I’ve been through injuries before. I’ve shattered my ankle, had the hernia surgery, so it wasn’t the first time I had surgery. And I felt like the third time’s the charm and this one kind of balanced me out, but moreso for my mental side, me being able to reflect on decisions, myself, life, whatever it is, and make adjustments within myself. And there’s just been so much growth. I’m just in a different place, just very, very excited to be back.’’
At his best, Odell Beckham Jr. is one of the best in the league, and with him on the field, the Browns are a better team. If the rehab has been successful, it should be interesting to see if Beckham can come back and tear the league up once again.
