During their trip, the Buccaneers quarterback and the POTUS were having fun, messing around with each other and cracking jokes about the Bucs season. Brady made fun of people for doubting Tampa Bay would win the Super Bowl, something Biden related to with his campaign against Trump.
Tom Brady jokes at White House: Many people didn’t believe the Buccaneers could win the Super Bowl — and 40% “still don’t think we won.”

Aside from that, Brady also joked with Biden about his hilarious error earlier in the year when he mixed up what down it was in a game against the Chicago Bears.
Tom Brady Jokes Around About Being “Sleepy Tom” With Joe Biden
In week five, the Buccaneers matched up against the Chicago Bears in what at the time, seemed like an important game for the NFC playoff race.
Down 20-19, the Buccaneers had one last chance to go win the game against the Bears. Brady is very familiar with these scenarios. His clutch gene has been embedded with him since the year he joined the NFL as he’s rescued his team countless of times, pulling off impressive game winning drives.
However, this night in Chicago, that wasn’t the case.

On that subject, Brady had to bring it up while meeting the president. Joe Biden and him were already joking around about a lot of other things, and this was just something else on Brady’s platter.
President Brady: “We had a game in Chicago where I forgot what down it was. I lost track of one down in 21 years of playing, and they started calling me ‘Sleepy Tom’. Why would they do that to me?”

No matter where Brady is, he seems to always have that charismatic and entertaining aura around him, whether it be the Super Bowl, a celebration, or the White House, Brady will keep being Brady.
