"This is the real reason Aaron Rodgers came back": Packers O-lineman David Bakhtiari pulls hilarious prank on Aaron Rodgers

The Aaron Rodgers Saga finally came to a close earlier this week. And while things are still a little hostile between Rodgers and the Packers, David Bakhtiari had a hilarious way to prank Aaron Rodgers

The Packers quarterback has had one of the most turbulent offseasons for a superstar in recent memory. From potentially demanding a trade, to holding out of training camp and the 2021-22 season, to even retiring, Packers fans have been on an absolute roller coaster this year.

Despite his troubles with the organization, Rodgers has always had a great relationship with his teammates, one of them being David Bakhtiari. Rodgers often gifted his o-linemen with gifts during the holidays for their efforts.

There’s a running joke on the Pat McAfee show that Rodgers says his offensive tackle, David Bakhtiari, gives him horrible gifts.  Rodgers had also once ripped Bakhtiari on the Pat McAfee Show for getting him a used Aston Martin as a Christmas gift last year. “It’s a model Aston Martin that looked like it was used as well. So, it wasn’t even a new model that he spent time putting together from Hobby Lobby or Michael’s or something.”

David Bakhtiari got Rodgers an “Aston Martin” Golf cart.

Rodgers had said on the Pat McAfee show that Bakhtiari was getting him another gift.

“I have to contractually tell you guys that he, supposedly, is getting me a golf cart… It’s supposed to be souped-up, I don’t know if it’s an Aston Martin golf cart, but I will say that I am excited about it.” And it looks Bakhtiari finally came through on the promise.

Bakhtiari posted a video on his Instagram with the caption: “My man finally got that #Ashtonmartin he always wanted,” Bakhtiari wrote on Twitter. “This is the real reason Aaron came back. Enjoy it 3x MVP. No more shaming @patmcafeeshow”

It’s a cute gift, even if it is meant to troll Aaron Rodgers a little. The post has quickly gone viral with over 10,000 likes and 300 comments weighing in on how amazing it is. It looks like Rodgers will have to wait a little bit longer to get the Aston Martin he’s always wanted.
