While Playing “Aaron Rodgers Quote or Taylor Swift Lyric” With Kay Adams, Robert Saleh Gets Tricked by His QB’s Love for Rhythm & Rhyme
Aaron Rodgers, who recently shifted base to New York, is known for being a bit dramatic and a little too profound with his words. So it becomes a little tough for people to differentiate between Rodgers’ quotes and lyrics of famous songs and that’s exactly what recently happened with Jets’ head coach Robert Saleh.
Robert recently sat down for an interaction with Kay Adams who asked the coach to play a very interesting game called, “Aaron Rodgers Quote or Taylor Swift Lyric.” While Saleh answered correctly on most occasions, he was tricked one time by Rodgers’ strongly rhythmic quote.
Kay Adams Puts Robert Saleh on the Spot With a Witty Aaron Rodgers Game
In a recent segment on ‘Up & Adams,’ Kay Adams presented quite the challenge for Robert Saleh while playing “Aaron Rodgers Quote or Taylor Swift Lyric” game. Some of the queries were quite challenging, given that Aaron Rodgers tends to be a bit dramatic with his statements. Even at the start of the game, Robert Saleh exclaimed that he would fail miserably at it. The first curveball thrown at him was – “All my friends started out as enemies” which is a Taylor Swift lyric and Saleh answered correctly.
The next one was – “You are not locked in. You can leave if you can’t do it. You can just walk out the door.” Saleh answered it as a Taylor Swift song as he felt it had too much rhythm to it, but to his surprise, it was a quote by Aaron Rodgers. Needless to say, he was tricked by his QB’s love for rhythm and rhyme.
However, Saleh managed to answer the next one correctly which was, “If I can slow it down in my mind, things will be fine.” Saleh instantly knew it was A-Rod’s quote. His justification was that this was something a quarterback would say and he was spot on. The Jets HC got the last one right as well which was a Taylor Swift lyric – “I could build a castle out of all the bricks they throw at me.”
Robert Saleh Lauds Aaron Rodgers For Helping Zach Wilson
Zach Wilson didn’t have a good season last time around and things are not looking very bright for him this year as well with Aaron Rodgers taking up the QB1 spot for the Jets. However, it is a great learning curve for young Zach who will be in close proximity with one of the most experienced QBs in NFL history. Robert Saleh, in a recent press conference revealed that Wilson is actually ‘gaining confidence’ by being around Aaron Rodgers.
Earlier as well, Robert Saleh had pointed out that Aaron Rodgers will have a huge impact on Zach Wilson who will be able to ‘absorb’ off from the veteran quarterback. “Whenever you got a guy who can sling it like he (Jets QB Aaron Rodgers) can, you’re lucky almost. There’s not a lot of guys in the world that can do it like he can. What’s great about it is there’s a young man right behind him that’s learning and absorbing everything. His presence is great for everybody,” Saleh had said.
Aaron Rodgers has ensured that he does everything he can to earn the respect of his new teammates, and that has quite clearly not gone unnoticed by head coach Robert Saleh. Moreover, with Zach getting the best guidance he can from a veteran, things are looking good for the Jets going forward.
