The humongous best-of-3 started in Mirage, the map pick of Apeks. Team Vitality joined the match undefeated yet. And they reigned high and won the first map 16-14. At first glance, it might seem very easygoing. however, it was the opposite. After a competitive match, Vitality reached 14 first with the Apeks being at 9. From there, Apeks made a stunning comeback, winning four rounds back-to-back, only to lose two rounds out of the remaining three.
The second map started high for Apeks in Vertigo as they went up 1-4 against the favorites. However, at the end of the round, Vitality ended up triumphing in the first half 10-5. With this scoreline, everyone was sure that Team Vitality was set to be the victors of the set sailing en route to the grand final. And they delivered, despite a shaky second half. The final score remained 16-12 as Team Vitality remain the only team undefeated in the major.
And just like that, Team Vitality defeated Apeks 2-0 to become the second team to join GamerLegion in the grand final of the Prais Major 2023.
