Pinecone Genshin Impact: Find Pinecones for Liben & the Marvelous Merchandise event here - location guide.

Pinecone Genshin Impact: To find Pinecones for Liben, the merchant & his Marvelous Merchandise event, follow our location guide to the easiest places.

The Genshin Impact Marvelous Merchandise event went live from 4 AM ET, 8 AM GMT on the 26th of October. And it is a great chance to earn some awesome rewards almost for free, given how easy the event is.

The Genshin Impact Marvelous Merchandise event: In brief.

Most of you who’ll make it here know all about the event already. So, I’ll spare the basic details. For others, the gist of the event is, a merchant by the name of Liben gives you 7 tasks (1 per day), in total, between 26th Oct & 2nd Nov. As a player, you have to locate Liben, whose place in Teyvat changes during the event week.

So, once you locate him, receive and complete his task. Then, he will give you a Box o’ Marvels and that’s about it. Also, note that players need a minimum Adventure Rank of 12 or above to join this event.

Today’s (27th October) task from Liben is to collect 10 pinecones. And Liben’s location today is in Springvale, near the Windmill in Hunter’s Village.

Pinecone Genshin Impact: A General Guide.

Now, this article is primarily to help out players with their task from Liben, the merchant. But, it’ll also help out anyone looking to farm Pinecones in general.

Pinecones are little fruits found all over Teyvat much like the Sunsettia, Apples or other raw food items. Usually, Pinecones are used to cook recipes such as Mondstadt Hash Brown, Sautéed Matsutake and the Puppy Paw Hash Brown. And you can find a few just under any Pinecone tree. They’ll appear to you as little shiny things in the grass.

But since they’re found in 2s and 3s in most places, below we’ll list some other special locations where you can get a lot more. These will not only help ease Liben’s quest for you but also help stock up for the future.

Pinecones for Liben, the merchant: Best Locations.

Let’s start with the best place at first – on the bridge near Qingce Village. Though slightly far away from Springvale, this is easily worth the travel because of the huge no. of Pinecones you get at once. There are a number of bridges around Qingce so, look near the one that is the most to the West. On it, you’ll always find at least 8-9 pinecones at once, sometimes even more. Check out the video below for a guide around the place.

Next up, if Qingce isn’t enough for you, head on over to Cape Oath. First, teleport to the waypoint in Cape Oath. Then, start moving to the north of the waypoint and before long, you’ll see sparkling pinecones on the ground. There’ll be at least 5 waiting for you here. Below is the video guide to that.

Finally, if for some reason you can’t travel to either of these places, say you haven’t unlocked them or something, then here’s a third option. The Stormbearer Mountains, north of Mondstadt will also furnish you will up to 10 pinecones. Just look for any pinecones trees around the place and shiny objects under them. Most of those will be pinecones.

Hope that helps you finish the quest for today. We’ll make another guide for tomorrow’s quest as soon as Liben refreshes. So, be sure to check that out as well.
