Roman Reigns to feud with Seth Rollins after Wrestlemania 34
With the fate of the Universal title sealed, there are big plans for the title after WrestleMania 34.
Roman Reigns is expected to survive six top members of the RAW roster in the Elimination Chamber to face “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar for the elusive title.
“The Big Dog” is heavily speculated to dethrone Lesnar’s long reign with the Universal Championship and walk out of New Orleans as the newly crowned Universal Champion.
With this being rumoured from several months, it is still unclear who Reigns will face after the “Grandest Stage of Them All”. Latest reports suggests that, Roman Reigns will collide with his Shield team mate Seth Rollins in the post-Wrestlemania season.
The much awaited Shield reunion did not take off as expected with untimely injuries to Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, and with Ambrose set to be on the shelf for a long time, the rumoured program between “The Lunatic Fringe” and “The Architect” has been put off the table.
Rollins and Reigns have had their moments this year with Reigns eliminating his fellow team mate from the Royal Rumble and recently colliding in the first match of the gauntlet match on RAW where Rollins managed a squeaky victory with a roll-up.
Although, the brothers managed to lock fists after the match, there is obviously heat between the stars which might be seen as they once again collide inside the Elimination Chamber.
There have been recurring rumours about Rollins turning heel with his earlier run as a heel being successful. Rollins was part of the Authority during his heel run and also won his first ever WWE Championship after his historic cash-in at WrestleMania 31.
The duo have battled it out before for the title at the Money In The Bank show in 2016 where despite Rollins picking up the victory, Dean Ambrose managed to have the last laugh as he gave Rollins the taste of his medicine by cashing in his Money In The Bank.
