RR vs KKR Match Prediction

RR vs KKR Match Prediction: The Sportsrush presents before you the Match Prediction of 21st match of IPL 2019.

The 21st match of the ongoing 12th season of the Indian Premier League will be played between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders at Jaipur tomorrow. While Royals have only won one out of four matches played so far, Knight Riders have won three out of the four matches played so far.

Having won and lost a match each on their home ground, Rajasthan wouldn’t want to let another opportunity go. Knowing the fact that another loss will start to make things difficult for them, Royals wouldn’t want to reach a stage from where coming back would seem daunting.

RR vs KKR – What numbers suggest?

Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders have played 19 matches so far. The Head-to-Head stats for both the teams put them on the same level. Both Royals and Knight Riders have won nine matches each against each other so far. Among the five matches played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur, RR have won three as compared to KKR’s two wins.

As far as the average score against each other is concerned, RR once again betters KKR ahead of tomorrow’s encounter. Royals’ average score of 149 against Knight Riders is greater than Knight Riders’s average score of 143 against Royals.

RR vs KKR – Paper value

It is no one but the form of Knight Riders all-rounder Andre Russell which majorly differentiates the two teams on paper. If the situation comes down to him against RR’s bowling attack, he is most likely to bail out KKR for one more time in the competition.

The hosts would be banking on the form of leg-spinner Shreyas Gopal, who was declared the Man of the Match in RR’s previous match. While the past numbers go slightly in Rajasthan’s favour, the current form favours Kolkata. That being said, overcoming current form might just prove to be a formidable task for Rajasthan.
