The Last of Us HBO Series: Character Posters Revealed Featuring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsay

The Last of Us Twitter Account shared Character Posters of the beautiful game highly anticipated by the fans.

TLOU made a cult of fans when it was released. Now HBO is looking to take advantage of that reign of fan following by making a series on the same story. The series and game follow the journey of Joel and Ellie. The unlikely duo who try to survive the Clickers and find a cure for the virus that infects the world. Let us break down the cast, characters, and character posters.

The Last of Us Character Posters receive a Mixed Reception

The fans reacted positively to the casting of Pedro Pascal as Joel. He has the acting potential and the experience of carrying a big franchise since he has also worked in the Mandalorian. However, Bella Ramsay as Ellie made fans question the casting since the character and the actress did not look alike. The fans had mixed responses.

The ones who were against the casting were countered by the ones who supported the casting. The reason the supporters gave was, “The Series hasn’t released yet; we won’t know if the decision is good or not until it releases.”

We also have Gabriel Luna as Tommy, Joel’s Brother, who also helps him during his journey. Gabriel Luna has appearances in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Terminator Franchises.  In addition, we also have Anna Torv as Tess, Joel’s friend before Ellie came into the picture. Her most prominent role was Olivia Dunham in the Fringe series, so she carries a lot of experience with her.

We also have Lamar Johnson playing Henry, who becomes a close acquaintance to Ellie and Joel on their journey. Other cast and crew retweeted the original tweets by The Official Last of Us Twitter account, and the fans are going ballistic in anticipation for the same. The Last of Us starts streaming on Jan 15th on HBO.
