Rivalries are common in one of the world’s biggest MMA promotions, the UFC. Some of the most well-known rivalries in UFC history include that between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor, and Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen. Former UFC champion Conor McGregor and Russian social media sensation Hasbulla Magomedov, on the other hand, had a somewhat odd rivalry.  The 20-year-old star rose to prominence in the MMA scene when his social media call-out videos for elite fighters went viral.

However, when Hasbulla called out the Irish UFC star, he didn’t appear to take it lightly, which led to a heated exchange of words. Hasbulla recently referred to the rivalry as “one of the most famous.” Let’s take a look at what the Russian superstar had to say about it.

What did Hasbulla Magomedov say about the rivalry with Conor McGregor?

Hasbulla Magomedov, because of his close relationship with former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, was already on the wrong side of Conor McGregor. That being said, ‘Mini Khabib’ once made a video of his farm chicken and stated that he has named it Conor McGregor.

Although ‘chicken’ might seem a normal insult for many, in Russia it is taken very seriously. The ‘chicken’ insult was also one of the reasons for Nurmagomedov and McGregor’s rivalry. For that reason, it didn’t sit well with McGregor.

Following that, ‘The Notorious’ responded with brutal jibes at Hasbulla. He even went personal and called the Russian star an ‘inbred.’ The rivalry quickly caught the public eye. And thus, while talking about it recently, Hasbulla Magomedov called it a famous historic battle.

Hasbulla aka ‘Mini Khabib’ has growth hormone deficiency. Thus, despite his age, Hasbulla stands 3’4″. However, it doesn’t stop him from going after notable UFC stars, even a 5’9″ tall ex-UFC champion Conor McGregor.

McGregor’s in legal trouble

Conor McGregor is without a doubt one of the most divisive figures in the UFC. As a result, he becomes involved in a number of controversial incidents outside of the UFC.

The Irish superstar was recently accused of s*xually abusing a woman during the NBA playoffs. Several recordings of him with the accuser have gone viral on social media in the aftermath of the announcement.

However, because the authorities are examining the issue, it is now difficult to reach a conclusion. The UFC has also issued a statement stating that they would wait for the inquiry to be completed before making a judgment on the fighter.

What are your thoughts on McGregor’s recent trouble with the law? What do you guys think about Hasbulla’s tweet?
