$400,000 Down, Here’s How Much Money Conor McGregor’s Friend Dillion Danis Will Earn Against Logan Paul

The teammate of Conor McGregor, Dillon Danis, is set to square off against WWE star Logan Paul in a six round boxing match. While Danis boasts a background in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, it’s his social media theatrics that have significantly bolstered the fight’s promotion, generating substantial excitement. The event’s fight card is brimming with thrilling matchups, including two main events: Tommy Fury vs. KSI and Danis vs. Paul. Scheduled for October 14th in Manchester, England, this event is attracting a lot of attention. As the realm of influencer boxing is picking up pace with this fight, many are eagerly awaiting details about the fighters’ purses. It is of particular interest, given Danis’ recent $400k setback due to legal issues.

In the lead-up to the fight, ‘El Jefe‘ relentlessly targeted Paul’s fiancé, Nina Agdal, as part of their promotional rivalry. This led Agdal to file a lawsuit against Danis, placing a substantial financial burden on him. Nevertheless, this legal dispute has added an intriguing storyline to the upcoming fight.

Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis purse

In contrast to some other fights, the salaries and payouts for this match have not been confirmed as of yet. Nevertheless, reports have emerged regarding the potential earnings of both fighters.

As per a Sports Payout report, the Maverick’s contract is structured to yield earnings in the ballpark of $1 million. Furthermore, in his super-fight against the undefeated Floyd Mayweather, the WWE star pocketed one of the largest purses of his career, $5 million.

For this fight, Logan Paul is expected to make approximately $500,000. While on the other hand, Dillon Danis could earn around $300,000 in his boxing debut.

It’s intriguing that the potential purse for Conor McGregor’s trainer, Dillon Danis is actually lower than the potential legal fees he might have to cover. This financial imbalance may have been a key factor in his decision to nearly back out of the fight.

Danis’ $400,000 lawsuit in brief

To promote his fight against the WWE star, Danis employed a controversial form of psychological warfare. While doing so he was targeting his fiancé, Nina Agdal. For weeks, Danis posted intimate pictures of Agdal, some of which featured her with his former partners.

While doing this, he even roped in names like Leonardo DiCaprio, Andrew Tate, LeBron James, and Adam Sandler in his tweets. Many believed he was pushing the boundaries, a sentiment shared by Agdal, who filed a $150,000 lawsuit against Danis.

Danis was featured on Adin Ross’ live stream alongside Andrew Tate. During that he asserted that the lawsuit’s legal fees would amount to approximately $400,000.

There were concerns about Danis potentially pulling out of the fight. Moreover, due to the antics at the faceoff ,the fans had a last-minute injury scare for Paul. However, it appears that the fight is finally happening. Yet, the outcome still hangs in the balance. Nevertheless, the fighting community remains highly invested in this bout.
