The name Andrew Tate needs no introduction at this point. The controversial social media star has always found a way to make headlines. While most of it has been for the wrong reasons, it is worth noting that it wasn’t always this way. The 36-year-old is a former kickboxer and lived a rather simple life before he began his entrepreneurial and social media journey. Thanks to his background in combat sports, Andrew Tate has often voiced his opinion of big fights and has supported many athletes in the industry.
Tate aka ‘Cobra’ also has good ties with UFC stars like Sean O’Malley. Similarly, he sent a message to renowned professional boxer Devin Haney ahead of one of the biggest fights of his career.
What did Andrew Tate say to Devin Haney?
As mentioned earlier, Tate has often showered his support on athletes from the world of combat sports. However, his recent tweet replying to unified lightweight champion Devin Haney has left fans wondering about his intentions.
Andrew Tate replied to a tweet by Devin Haney where he thanked god (Allah) for the fight week. In a rather interesting response, ‘Top G’ said:
“WhatsApp G”
WhatsApp G ❤️
— Andrew Tate (@Cobratate) May 16, 2023
Although it is unknown why Tate delivered the message to Haney, it might be due to their shared beliefs. Tate proclaimed his conversion to Islam last year. In the same way, Haney is a Muslim. Tate may have responded to him because he spoke of ‘Allah.’
It is worth noting that this isn’t the first time Tate has responded to one of Haney’s tweets. That said, it looks pretty evident that the controversial social media celebrity is rather fond of the unified lightweight champion and would want him to win later this weekend.
Is Tate still under house arrest?
The fiasco surrounding the arrest of Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate seems to be far from over at this point. They arrested the two from their house in Romania back in December last year on alleged charges of money laundering and human trafficking.
While the two were initially arrested for 24 hours, their detention kept on increasing and the Tate brothers ended up spending three months in jail. In the meantime, they continued to file for bail and claimed innocence.
However, none of their appeals were granted up until March 31st. Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate were ultimately released from prison and transferred into house arrest as the investigation goes on. That said, it is unlikely that they will be released from house arrest anytime soon.
What are your thoughts on Tate’s house arrest? What do you guys think about his message for Haney?
