“Bullsh*t”: Close Man of Khabib Nurmagomedov Destroys Conor McGregor for Muhammad Ali Comparison
Over the past decade, the UFC has become a household name in the United States. While there are many reasons that contribute to this, Conor McGregor is one name that has contributed significantly to this. He is a trailblazer for the UFC. And According to ‘The Notorious,’ what he has done in the fight game is comparable to Muhammad Ali and his contributions to boxing. Needless to say, this invoked a strong reaction from a close aide of Khabib Nurmagomedov.
It has been exactly a decade since Conor McGregor joined the UFC. In the time that he has been with the organization, McGregor has transcended the sport. He is well-known to those that might not even follow the UFC. While Ali is regarded as an icon for his work both on and off the field, the same can not be said for Conor McGregor.
Conor McGregor gets bashed for Muhammad Ali comparison
‘The Notorious’ reacted to a fan account edit of himself with the caption, “Conor McGregor would be a nightmare matchup for Volk.” In reaction to the edit, Conor McGregor agreed with the statement and went on to compare himself to Muhammad Ali. ‘The Notorious’ said:
“The Double World’s Greatest! Ain’t no man since Ali, shook up the world like Mac G!”

Muhammad Ali was not only a great boxer, but also stood for a lot more outside the ring. Ali played a crucial role in educating the public about racial injustice.
He also spoke against the Vietnam War and refused to fight for the country for which he served time in prison. Therefore, comparisons with Muhammad Ali are not ones to be taken lightly.
This statement did not sit well with Ali Abdelaziz, who is Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager and also a close friend. He responded to McGregor’s statements, reminding him of his recent shortcomings in the UFC octagon. He said:
“You are one round fighter please enough of the bullsh*t.”

Given that the UFC is always looking to make super fights with Conor McGregor, is there a possibility of him facing Alexander Volkanovski? Let’s dive deeper.
Is a big payday looming for Volkanovski?
McGregor hinted with his recent tweet that he has a record above ‘The Great.’ And it is no secret that Alexander Volkanovski wants to be a two-weight world champion to ink his name in history books. However, in all likelihood, that chapter has now closed, given Volkanovski’s recent loss to Islam Makhachev.
If Volkanovski were to fight Conor McGregor, it would be a super fight with no title implications. Unfortunately, for Volkanovski, there are too many bitter rivalries for ‘The Notorious’ at 155 pounds that he needs to settle before he will even consider facing Volkanovski.
