Khabib Nurmagomedov, earlier issued a chilling warning to his UFC 254 opponent Justin Gaethje, and while all eyes are on Gaethje, in the meanwhile the Notorious One has tried to interfere in the matter. Conor McGregor has come up with his own version of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s warning.
What is the warning? Khabib Nurmagomedov in an Instagram comment has laid out his plans for Justin Gaethje, and conveyed “I will take him (Justin) to the deepest ocean and drown him”

Conor McGregor is away from the in-ring action, but on social media he is quite active. He took a dig at Khabib’s comment, and wrote;
The animosity between Conor Mcgregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov is still afresh. The two were part of the most successful PPV show of all time, UFC 229, where The Russian prevailed. The speculations about a re-match also pick up every now and then, however it’s been almost two years and with McGregor retired and Nurmagomedov with his plans set, there is no possibility of a re-match in the near future.
The bigger picture right now is the match-up between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Justin Gaethje for the Lightweight Championship, which is set for October 24. The stakes will be high, and the match may become a potential contender of the fight of the year.
