Meanwhile, Tiger Woods has won PGA Tour Player of the Year over 10 times. As the leading money winner on the PGA Tour, Woods has consistently showcased his golfing prowess. Unlike McGregor, who is known for his trash talk, Woods typically refrains from engaging in such banter. Nevertheless, McGregor was true to his character, delivering his cheeky Instagram post aimed at the golfing icon.

The timing of this post aligned with Tiger Woods’ DUI arrest, adding an extra layer of significance to McGregor’s gesture.

The DUI incident
Tiger Woods found himself in a precarious situation when the police discovered he had over five substances in his system while driving. Exhibiting signs of drowsiness, Woods was pulled over, revealing the presence of two painkillers, sleep-inducing medications, and even a marijuana product.
At that time police didn’t confirm whether the medications were prescribed to Woods or not. Consequently, Woods opted for a plea deal, pleading guilty to the charge of reckless driving. This strategic move ultimately led to the dropping of other charges against him, highlighting the legal consequences and decisions Woods faced in the aftermath of the incident.
