Donald Cerrone, Niko Price Verbally Agree For A September 19 Showdown

Donald Cerrone is all set to return to the Octagon. The cowboy has verbally agreed to fight Niko Price next month.

Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone who was last seen in January 2020, against Conor McGregor, will look to end his four-match losing streak when he will potentially enter the ring on September 19, against Niko Price. Cerrone is famous for competing more often than others and has the most wins in UFC (23). The 37-year-old would look to better his record with his return. However, the match-up is not yet confirmed by UFC, but some credible sources have rendered this information about the potential bout.

Donald Cerrone is widely respected in the circuit, and in the past even some of the most notorious fighters have resisted from speaking ill about him. Cerrone has lost his last four bouts to some of the most fierce competitors of the lightweight division, viz. Conor McGregor, Justin Gaethje, Tony Ferguson, and Anthony Pettis. However, this time the potential bout is of Welterweight division.

Niko Price on the other hand, would also look to regain the winning momentum. Price last fought Vicente Luque at UFC 249, where he lost via. a TKO in Round 3. Nico Price carries an impressive, 14-4-1 record.

So, it will be a great encounter, but first let’s wait for it to become official.
