GSP is Open to Return Against Khabib Nurmagomedov and waiting for “The Offer I cannot Refuse”

Khabib Nurmagomedov is set for an in-ring return against Justin Gaethje, on October 24. But, speculations about him going one-on-one against GSP are also peaking at the same time. 

Khabib Nurmagomedov Vs. Justin Gaethje is a much anticipated fight, where Khabib will defend his Lightweight Championship, and his coveted record of 28-0, on the other hand, Gaethje also willing to put his years of hard work on the line, the fighter has indirectly expressed that this fight fight will be the biggest of his career. While this contest is yet to reach the pinnacle of publicity, and will get there slowly with each passing day. In the meanwhile, Khabib Nurmagomedov Vs. Georges St-Pierre is also picking up the steam.

Khabib Nurmagomedov recently via. social media shared his plan for his next two bouts, he wrote “October-Justin and April-GSP”. Since then speculations of him going against GSP picked more fuel. Incessantly, GSP has come up with statements of his own, which has opened doors to a few possibilities.

Georges St-Pierre has recently joined the analysis team of French-Canadian channel RDS, where he was asked about a potential comeback to the Octagon to face Khabib Nurmagomedov, who is evidently already ready for the bout. The 39-year-old in return gave a neat reply. He said, “I am still in good shape, not because I have a fight coming up, but because I like to stay that way. Having said that, I’m not in fighting form. If I had a fight, I would have to get into a training camp. I just got into the Hall of Fame. I’m retired and I’m fine. If the UFC has something to ask of me, an offer to make me that I could not refuse, they just have to call me, they know where to find me.” (Source)
