‘Have no fear, underdog is here!’: Dustin Poirier reacts to being perceived as the underdog against Conor McGregor
The much-anticipated fight between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier is coming closer day by day. In the wake of that, the odds are released and portrays Conor McGregor as the favorite over Dustin Poirier.
With less than 3 weeks remaining for the ultimate showdown to proceed at UFC 257, recently the betting odds of the Conor McGregor Vs. Dustin Poirier fight got released by the official betting partner of UFC- Draftkings.
The scheduled bout is the rematch of the 2014 Featherweight encounter when Conor McGregor showcased his Mystic Mac persona and substantiated his prediction with a first-round knockout in the Octagon. And apparently taking into consideration what happened last time around, the oddsmakers have given the Notorious one the favorite’s tag.

Dustin Poirier reacts to the underdog tag

So, with a favorable record, when he seemingly noted the difference in odds, he reacted on social media. The former Interim champion of the concerned category ostensibly welcomed the odds and took the intangible turnout rather sportingly.
The 31-year-old took to Twitter to write, “Have no fear, underdog is here.”

With the reveal of odds, Conor McGregor may enter with a psychological advantage on January 23. However, the odds and assumptions will not matter on the day as the unsaid rule of the sport states, in the fight, the fighter who makes better adjustments eventually prevails.
