According to White, not only the promotion is looking to fix Fight Island as the venue for the event, but also plans on making it a multi fight event week. And while, this would would mean a spree of fights in a short span, he also paid heed on it being a perfect opportunity to bring the spectators back.

Dana White Reveals Huge Plans Around UFC 257

UFC 257 is going to Kick-off the PPV scene of 2021, and with the presence of Conor McGregor in it, the event is certainly going to rake-in over a million buyouts. But UFC does not intend to settle with that. The president conveys that there might be a room for three fight nights in the concerned week, and wants to term it as “International Fight Week.”

UFC chief mentions the new Etihad Arena for the coming mega show, and hopes it may turn out to become the ultimate step to bring the mass back.

So, now the plans are laid out, only the time will tell whether the situation becomes favorable for the fans to appear at their designated spot again. But even if unfortunately the doors for the crowds remain shut, 2021 is seemingly going to be another landmark year for UFC.
