His mimicry of the Russian UFC legend, Khabib Nurmagomedov, put him into the spotlight. Subsequently, Hasbulla has even landed a lucrative multi-year deal with the famous UFC, thanks to his social media presence and contacts with Team Khabib. However, the talented 20-year-old boxer was recently involved in a legal conflict.
According to reports, Hasbulla Magomedov and his friends were arrested in Dagestan for allegedly violating traffic laws. A few days later, ‘Mini Khabib’ sent an update on his official Twitter account. He admitted to being given bail and placed under home arrest. Despite the bad circumstances, the Russian superstar couldn’t help but joke about his arrest.
Hasbulla jokes about his arrest
The Russian internet celebrity is well known for his lighthearted attitude to things. On social media, he is frequently seen hitting and teasing individuals. Given his personality, Hasbulla even made light of his arrest.
‘Mini Khabib’ recently shared a clip from a previous interview in which he was asked about his incarceration. Hasbulla alleged in the video that he was imprisoned for 11 hours.
Furthermore, the Russian star said that due to his stature, he was only given one shackle on each hand. Following that, the crowd burst out laughing. Hasbulla appears unfazed despite his arrest since he was previously seen selling items with his mugshot after the incident.
‘Mini Khabib’ posted a throwback with UFC champion Islam Makhachev
As aforementioned, the social media star has strong relations with Team Khabib. Hasbulla Magomedov is also claimed to be a neighbor of current UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev.
As a result, Hasbulla has attended numerous of his fights to show his support. He recently shared a clip from one of Makhachev’s fights. While Makhachev was being interrogated backstage, Hasbulla was seen playing with a water bottle in the video.
Makhachev is fresh from his win over Alexander Volkanovski. He is currently talking about his next fight. It will be interesting to see if Hasbulla will be present during his fight or not.
