Valorant Americas: NRG Esports vs. FURIA; Predictions, Points Table, Head to Head and More

NRG Esports has the old OpTic core, which was the most consistent Valorant team in 2022. However, that core failed to show up in important matches earlier in the tournament. The last match NRG played against 100T was a statement, however. There were plenty of clutch moments from each member of the team and for the first time, NRG lived up to their full potential in the tournament. Now, their next challenge is the Brazilian FURIA who have stunned the audience by winning 4 out of the 6 matches they have played in VCT Americas.

Can NRG Win this Valorant Americas Match-Up against the Brazilian Underdog FURIA?

NRG has won 3 of their last 5 matches while FURIA has done the same.  Both teams are coming off a recent victory over pretty strong teams. FURIA defeated MIBR while NRG decimated 100T by playing Bind after almost a year.  These teams have never faced each other before so expect both IGLs to cook up some new strategies to counter the other team. That being said, let us take a look at the potential rosters for both teams.

NRG Esports

  • Crashies
  • FiNESSE
  • S0m
  • Victor
  • Ardiis
  • Ethos (Sub)

FURIA

  • dgzin
  • Mazin
  • Khalil
  • Qck
  • mwzera

FURIA is at the third spot in the points table while NRG sits at the 5th spot behind Leviatan. Below NRG is the team they defeated, 100T. This match is really crucial for NRG if they want to maintain confidence heading into playoffs. While we are completely open to a Brazilian squash match, we think NRG is going to win this match 2-1. Although, NRG has looked a little inconsistent throughout the tournament. But that is to be expected going up against all of these strong teams.
