Sentinels are up with a replacement for Sinatraa in the form of TenZ. TenZ joins the team on loan and he already has words for Sinatraa.
As we all know Sinatraa was accused of Sexual Abuse by his ex-girlfriend Cleo Hernandez. A detailed word document was released which showed an audio recording and countless screenshots of text messages between the two.
Sentinels and Riot suspended him following the allegations. He quickly responded with his own statement and said that he is working with the investigation. Since then Sentinels have replaced him with TenZ.
Riot makes an exception and Sentinels find a replacement –
Before a tournament starts teams are expected to lock their rosters so that no last minute changes occur. This is a rule in competitive Valorant. Following the Sinatraa incident Riot said that Sentinels asked for an exception to be made to the rule. It was soon granted. Another tecnicality was that TenZ was on contract with Cloud9. One player cannot be under two different contract.
To fix this Sentinels went ahead and bought his contract entirely. Sentinels released a statement on Twitter saying, “We’re happy to announce that @TenZOfficial will be joining Sentinels to compete in Masters Stage 1.”
TenZ speaks about Sinatraa –
About two months ago TenZ announced that he would be stepping away from competitive gaming – as well as his team Cloud9 Blue – to pursue content creation. Now he will represent Sentinels in the upcoming tournament. In a recent stream TenZ spoke about Sinatraa.
He was all praise saying that “alt-ing guns with Sova is kind of impossible, unless you are Sinatraa, he just flicks the alt.” You can see the vidow here.
