VALORANT ‘Premier’ mode coming soon
– Path to Pro, will replace how players qualify to Challengers Leagues
– Global Open Beta will release Episode 6 Act III— Valorant News (@ValorINTEL) March 2, 2023
The newest mode is made for players who are hungry for competition beyond the Radiant ranked level. Riot has said that they want to ” present an even higher goal beyond Radiant that provides the most competition-hungry players with a rewarding challenge beyond ranked.” This mode offers players a chance to be pro players and in the future, it will replace the open qualifying system.
Players can play, form squads, and participate in weekly matches to earn a chance to be pro players. You can create a team with anyone you want, and compete in seasons of pre-scheduled matches. The team you make will be placed in a Division. In this division, weekly matches will take place and if you can come out on top, then you will be crowned Division Champions.
A beta version will release globally with the release of Episode 6 Act III. We expect the update to come by May. That is everything you need to know about Premier Mode. In short, it replaces the scouting aspect of professional Valorant. Hence, organizations will easily be able to scout players through these division matches. Additionally, due to it being global, every region gets a fair opportunity to represent themselves and their nation on the international stage if they are the Division champions.
What do you think of this mode? Will it decrease the reliance on scouts in the professional scene? Let’s discuss it! For more Valorant-related news, stay tuned at The SportsRush!
