From ‘Ole’s at the wheel’ to ‘Ole, ole Ander Herrera’. ‘Ole’ might become the favourite name for newborn baby boys in Greater Manchester in 2019, at this rate. #mufc

The Chilean attacker has had a hard time since joining Manchester United in January last year. Earlier this week, he was criticised for his disappointing performance against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League round-of-16 game.
Herrera went straight to Alexis Sanchez and hugged him after the full-time whistle and further talked about the Chilean forward in the post-match interview.
“I would like to speak about Alexis, Andreas and Scott coming in and working. Alexis Sanchez is a world class player but he came in and was so sharp,” Ander Herrera said.

Love how Ander Herrera went over to Alexis at full time. He mentioned post match how impressed he was with how hard Alexis Sanchez worked when he came on. Alexis is having a hard time and Ander Herrera being a leader and motivating him is brilliant. Has to be our next captain! pic.twitter.com/jzjeclp6DR

I’m just happy I ain’t as frustrated tonight, as I was in 2015 (tweet below). Always good to remember some tweets and remind people how important @AnderHerrera is to @ManUtd midfield. #mufc 🔥 https://t.co/fT0XNyxTdP

Ander Herrera is my man of the match tonight. He was exceptional in every single aspect of the word. In the right place at the right time constantly and sets the standards for every other player out there. So happy we’re seeing him enjoying his football again. Love him!
