WWE Hall of Famer, Jim Ross has stated in an interview with Submission Radio that “The Notorious One” is in talks with the company.
Ross mentioned that the officials know a great deal about McGregor, including the likes of the chairman Vince McMahon and the COO Triple H.
“Vince knows who Conor McGregor is…You know, Vince doesn’t live on Uranus (and) he’s pretty well-read, he pays attention, he pays attention; and Paul Levesque (Triple H) certainly knows who Conor McGregor is.”

“I don’t have this concrete information or source telling me all that good stuff, I would be very surprised if the two parties on some level haven’t had some kind of communication. It may be lawyer to lawyer, probably that more than anything, but just to feel out interest.”
Conor McGregor hit out on WWE in a controversial rant where he ran down on the company and targeting several WWE stars including the likes of John Cena.
Despite this, Ross believes that McGregor could make his way into the WWE due to his impeccable mic skills and MMA move set.
Ross also stated that the deal would be initailly based for an one-time appearance, the company will then evaluate the response and the box office draws beforing offering a major deal.
McGregor has revealed that he is a huge fan of Ric Flair in the past. The Irishman was recently knocked out by Floyd Mayweather in a multi-million dollar fight, he is not expected to return back to the UFC until next year to defend his UFC Lightweight Championship.
With Ronda Rousey close to signing a deal with the company, there is a possibility of McGregor signing one as well, After all it’s never say never in the wrestling industry!
