Kofi Kingston © Vs Kevin Owens (WWE Championship Match)

Seth Rollins © Vs AJ Styles (Universal Championship)

Here are the results so far:

Daniel Bryan © and Erick Rowan © Vs The Uso’s

The SmackDown tag team champions took on Raw’s Uso’s in the Kick Off show. They had a short yet entertaining match. The match ended after the twins super kicked Rowan outside the ring and splashed Bryan inside the ring for the 3 count.

Result: The Uso’s win.

Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

The crowd was into the match from the beginning to the end. All of the participants found their moment to shine. Nicki Cross dominated the match early on with her craziness. Naomi took over from there and wowed the audience with her athleticism.

Carmella had to leave the match midway following a kayfabe injury. However, she limped back into the ring near the end and looked like she would become the first 2-time Miss Money in the Bank but was taken out by Sonia Deville. She then helped Mandy up to the top of the ladder in a show of amazing strength. However, to their surprise, Bailey quickly climbed up the ladder and pushed the duo down. The former Raw Women’s Champion quickly unclipped the briefcase and became the Miss Money in the bank 2019.

Result: Bailey wins the Money in the Bank ladder match

Samoa Joe © Vs Rey Mysterio (United States Championship)

Samoa Joe used his size to pick on Rey and dominated the match. However, as he tried to lift the Luchador for a powerbomb, Mysterio countered the move into a roll up to win the match. Replays showed that Joe’s shoulders were not on the mat. But with the referee’s view obstructed, the pin fall counts.

An Irate Joe pulled the new champion back into the ring for a brutal beatdown while Dominic screamed from outside the ring. Guess that means this feud is not yet over.

Result: Rey Mysterio wins the United States Championship

Shane Vs The Miz (Steel Cage Match)

As of now, the best match of the night. Honestly though, it’s going to be really hard to top this one. Miz and Shane have a very good in-ring chemistry with each other. The two really give the impression that they despise each other. The story telling in the ring was brilliant too.

Shane just wanted to escape the ring, while Miz wanted to outright pin him. The Miz hit Shane with a Skull Crushing finale on a chair and it looked like the match would end there however, the referee pulled out of the count after seeing Shane’s foot on the rope, blatantly disregarding the No-Disqualification rule. Shane managed to win the match but only barely after he slipped from the top of the steel cage as The Miz tried to pull him back in. This is a perfect way to keep Shane from losing any credibility for his eventual feud with Roman while still making Miz look strong in defeat.

Result: Shane wins by escaping the Steel Cage

Tony Nese © Vs Ariya Daivari (Cruiserweight Championship)

Arya Daivari the challenger walked out in style. He drove actually, in a fancy sports car to face Tony Nese the reigning Cruiserweight Champion. The two had an interesting match. The crowd however were not feeling it. This match suffered the ignominy of having to follow the Miz vs Shane match. Tony Nese successfully defended his Title to a very silent crowd.

Result: Tony Nese wins.

Becky Lynch © Vs Lacey Evans (Raw Women’s Championship)

To be frank, this match could have been a whole lot better. Both of the wrestlers were sloppy but Becky in particular was a disappointment here. The match ended in hilarious circumstances. Lacey rolled Lynch up. The referee however, instead of counting the pinfall, went to the other side to check the champs shoulders. Becky quickly countered and caught Evans in the Dis-arm-her. The Sassy Southern Belle immediately tapped out giving Becky her win.

Result: Becky Lynch retains the Raw Women’s Championship.

Becky Lynch © Vs Charlotte Flair (SmackDown Women’s Championship)

Charlotte Flair walked out for her match before Becky could even finish celebrating her victory over Evans. This was a much better match. This is a testimony to both her chemistry with Flair and Flair’s own ability as a wrestler.

Lynch and Flair fought with a lot more intensity. There were punches and chops and they all felt real. Lacey Evans ran and punched Becky at the end. However Becky still managed to roll up Flair. Unfortunately for her, Flair kicked out and hit Lynch with a big boot. She pinned the reigning champ and dethroned her.  Lacey and Charlotte then followed it up with a post match beatdown on Lynch. The new Miss money in the Bank, Bailey quickly ran out to Lynch’s aid and then cashed in her Contract and priced the belt away from Charlotte Flair.

Result: Bailey Cashes in her Contract on New SmackDown Champion Flair and becomes new Champion

Roman Vs Elias

Elias took out Roman before the match with a guitar to his back. He then came out to the ring and did his usual shtick. The big dog then came out hit Elias with a spear and ended the match.

Results: Roman Wins

Seth Rollins © Vs AJ Styles (Universal Championship)

Count on AJ Styles and Seth Rollins to make me look stupid. Their match easily stole the show. Both pf these champion wrestlers gave everything they had. There were sling blades and rip cord knees, calf crushers and Styles clash. Every move the two wrestlers have in their arsenal was out on display today. Seth finally managed to land a Curbstomp on his challenger. AJ lay for the three count. Seth retains. AJ walked in after the match and it looked like he was about to turn heel. Turns out the Phenomenal one just wanted to congratulate the young champion. The match was best described by Corey Graves. He called Seth Rollins the workhorse of the company and mentioned that he had found a new stablemate in AJ Styles.

Result: Seth retains the Universal Title

Lucha House Party Vs Lars Sullivan

The Lucha House Party were booked in an impromptu 6 man tag team match. The match never started as Lars Sullivan walked out and laid waste to Lucha House Party.

Result: No Contest

Kofi Kingston © Vs Kevin Owens (WWE Championship Match)

Kevin Owens took on Kofi Kingston in a fun match. Both of them were given sufficient time to show what they could do. Owens tried to perform the senton on Kofi but the WWE Champion lifted his feet up to intercept the jump. He then followed it up by hitting Owens with a Trouble in paradise to successfully defend his WWE Championship. Looks like this feud is over now that Kofi has won clean.

Result: Kofi retains the WWE Championship.

Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match

The nights main event started with one man down. Sami Zayn was taken out earlier in the night making it a 7 men ladder match. The faces had the upper hand in the beginning, Drew and Corbin soon joined hands and wiped the ring before Ali and Ricochet launched a comeback. Balor and Andrade clashed on top of the ladder for the moment of the match. Andrade hit Balor with a Sunset flip powerbomb from top of the ladder to another below.

Corbin soon stabbed McIntyre in the back. The Scottish Psychopath got his revenge soon after with a Claymore Kick.  He then proceeded to steamroll through everyone else and climb the ladder. Randy quickly hit him with an RKO before getting thrown out of the ring by Corbin. Corbin then teased a victory but was pushed down by Ali who himself teased a victory.

It was then that the 8th participant to the match was revealed. Brock Lesnar, the 8th participant, came down running to the ring and dropped Ali before unclipping the Briefcase to become Mr. Money in the Bank 2019.

Result: Brock Lesnar is Mr Money in the Bank 2019

That’s all the live updates and results from WWE Money in the Bank 2019…
