Damien Priest was challenged by Bronson Reed and in a major upset Reed shocked Priest via. a Jackknife cover.
In this week’s episode of NXT (August 12), a major upset occurred as Bronson Reed defeated Damien Priest. Bronson Reed entered the ring and challenged Damien Priest up front, Priest answered the call and accepted the challenge. In the Match, it was 60-40 Damien Priest, who dominated the match, with a series of kicks, pushing Reed to steel steps, but in the end when the Archer went for the kill and attempted to connect the Reckoning on Reed, Reed turned the move into a Jackknife cover, and held his grip for three precious seconds.

Damien Priest’s Reaction
After the match Damien Priest looked stunned over his loss, however later implied confidence, with his reply to the aforementioned post. Damien Priest stated “Still Gonna be the Next NA Champion So…”
Damien Priest is set to feature in a ladder match at NXT Takeover XXX, for the North American Championship.
The ladder match is yet to take the final shape, as only Bronson Reed, Damian Priest and Cameron Grimes are the only finalized competitors and still two spots are there to be filled.
