Eva Marie makes WWE return alongside NXT UK star Piper Niven. It was announced earlier in the day that she would make face Naomi tonight.
WWE advertised Eva Marie’s in-ring return earlier in the day. She was scheduled to face Naomi in her first match since returning to the company. Naomi waited for quite a while before Eva Marie made her way out. However, she was not alone.

Eva Marie walked out alongside NXT UK Superstar Piper Niven. She was not named by the announce team. Instead, they made it seem like they had no idea who she was. Niven went on to wrestle in Eva Marie’s stead and made short work of Naomi. The returning star declared herself the winner after the match and celebrated with Niven at ringside.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, the pitched name for Piper Niven’s character is “Doudrop”. He also added that he had no idea if they’ll use that name.
“The pitched name for Piper Niven has been “Doudrop.”

He previously reported that Eva Marie was going to be used by the WWE as a manager and not a wrestler. He even specifically mentioned Piper Niven by name.
Eva Marie previously claimed that she was going to wrestle. However, at this point it doesn’t seem like so. We’ll have to wait and see how this unfolds in the future and if she does get into the ring eventually.
