Roman Reigns takes a shot at Edge ahead of their clash at Money in the Bank. The two are scheduled to face each other for the Universal Championship.
Edge wants the Universal Championship and he made it very clear when he demanded an recived a title shot against Roman Reigns at Money in the Bank. The 2021 Royal Rumble winner will finally have his singles match against the Tribal Chief.

Roman Reigns hyped the match on his social media with a massive shot at the Hall of Famer. The Head of the table implied that Edge was looking towards the match in order to remain relevant. He wrote:

Edge and Reigns were originally scheduled to face each other at Wrestlemania 37 in a singles match. However, with Daniel Bryan’s involvement, the match was turned into a triple threat instead. Edge will now finally his chance at Universal Championship in a match he wanted from the beginning.
Money in the Bank will take place on July 18, 2021 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. MITB will be the first PPV on their recently announced 25-city tour. This will also be WWE’s first pay-per-view held outside of the state of Florida. The last was Elimination Chamber in March 2020.
