Roman Reigns vs Rey Mysterio Hell in a Cell match confirmed

Roman Reigns vs Rey Mysterio Hell in a Cell match confirmed at WWE Hell in a Cell. The two will fight inside the steel structure next Sunday.

Up until last week Roman Reigns had no challengers for his Universal title. Rey Mysterio showed up as the next contender for the title closing this week’s episode of SmackDown with a challenge to the Tribal Chief. The SmackDown tag team champion later attacked Reigns.

His son Dominik joined in but Reigns overpowered them and left Dominick by the ringside as the show closed. The match was a subject of discussion on Talking Smack. The WWE have since confirmed the match between Reigns and Mysterio.

Roman Reigns vs Rey Mysterio Hell in a Cell match confirmed


The two will face each other in a Hell in a Cell match for the Universal Championship. This will be Mysterio’s first match inside the Steel Structure. The veteran luchador will look to even things up with the Tribal Chief at the June 20 event.

Hell in a Cell 2021 will take place on June 20, 2021 from the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida. This will be their final pay-per-view to be broadcast from the ThunderDome before they resume live touring with fans in mid-July.

Four matches have been confirmed for the event so far.
