Logan Paul WWE

Logan Paul’s groundbreaking performance at WWE’s PPV event Crown Jewels caused waves in the world of pro wrestling. The Youtuber-turned-wrestler took the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns to the absolute limit. Paul had his doubters before venturing into professional wrestling, however, after his stellar performance, not only did he prove that he can swim with the sharks like Roman Reigns but also that pro wrestling is not an easy game. During the match, Paul surprised the fans by pulling off high-flying moves. Some fans on Twitter even compared his Buckshot Lariat with CM Punk’s and dubbed Paul as a better wrestler.

After the match, WWE Universe learned that Logan Paul suffered a serious knee injury after he launched himself in the air and frog-splashed Roman Reigns through the announce table mid-match. The fact that Paul continued to wrestle to complete the match despite his grave injury substantiated that Paul is a natural between the ropes.

Logan Paul may be returning soon to the squared circle

Logan Paul tweeted a post-match picture of himself and stated that he sustained a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus during his match. The injury has since put the 27-year-old on the shelf. Youtubers FaZe Sensei and The W.A.D.E Concept who are close friends with the Paul brothers provided an update on Paul’s comeback on an edition of Breakdown.

According to them, Logan Paul is healing up fast and is expected to return to WWE in six weeks. However, the update was not confirmed by Logan Paul, hence it is only speculation. During the conversation, Wade also stated that Logan is considering stem cell therapy as a treatment for his injury.

“By the way, we got an update on that,” Wade began. “His MCL that was torn — he didn’t have a triple tear, so that’s good. He’s gonna be trying to wrestle in six weeks, apparently.”

Due to his injury, Paul’s next boxing match that was coming up in January 2023 may be canceled. Fellow Youtuber KSI revealed on One Question Go that Paul is unlikely to partake in the Misfits card next year. For the time being, Logan is focussing on his podcast “imPAULsive” while he heals from his knee injury.

Logan Paul may be a surprise entrant in Royal Rumble PLE 2023

As noted, Paul is reportedly expected to return to the ring in six weeks.  Interestingly, that also happens to be exactly when the Royal Rumble PLE 2023 starts. Taking Wade’s update into account, there is a high chance of seeing Logan Paul reveal himself as a surprise entrant in the upcoming PLE.

If rumors about The Rock’s return to Royal Rumble are true, it will be interesting to see The Rock and his estranged friend Logan Paul square off in the ring for the very first time. Earlier, Logan Paul teased a match with John Cena on Twitter at WrestleMania 39. It remains to be seen what the future holds for Logan Paul in WWE.
