Sunil Gavaskar emulates Amitabh Bachchan: The legendary Indian cricketer saw the funny side of India’s batting woes.

During the third T20I of the ongoing South Africa’s tour of India in Bengaluru, legendary Indian batsman Sunil Gavaskar saw the funny side of India’s batting conundrum regarding the No. 4 position.

Gavaskar, who was commentating during the match alongside Harsha Bhogle, expressed his views regarding the question around the No. 4 batsman comprising of importance to be featured on renowned Indian television game show Kaun Banega Crorepati.

It all happened when the broadcaster displayed the same question giving four options much like the format used in KBC. While wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant is currently batting at the given position, the other three option were Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey and Lokesh Rahul.

Soon joining the fun was Bhogle, who even mimicked a dialogue from the veteran actor. Watch the full video below:

Jokes apart, India would be seriously considering the conundrum as things don’t seem to be going their way with the current combination. Pant has once again failed to convert his potential into performance. The southpaw was in the middle eighth over but was dismissed by the 13th over.

Most recently, a lot of former cricketers have expressed their opinion regarding Iyer having it in him to bat at No. 4. The cricket experts believe that Pant is better suited to bat at No. 4 for India.

Apart from Pant, other Indian top-order batsmen also failed to make a mark tonight. After India captain Virat Kohli won the toss and chose to bat, the hosts were expected to post a competitive total on a batting-friendly track at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium.
