NFL Giants vs Rams- The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

 

NFL: The Giants vs Rams game was a relatively low scoring game, but it had its moments. Not to mention the Golden Tate and Jalen Ramsey fight. Here’s a look into what went right, wrong and worst.

The Good

The Rams offense was pretty passive throughout the game but they managed to pull through to grab the win. Jared Goff finished with an accurate 78% completion percentage. The Rams run game has felt a void after losing Todd Gurley, but the receivers have stepped up. Cooper Kupp had 69 receiving yards and 1 receiving touchdown. Robert Woods played in the slot, racking up 6 crucial receptions.

The Rams defense sacked Giant’s quarterback Daniel Jones 5 times, also forcing him to throw an interception. They pretty much locked up the Giant’s pass and run game.

The Bad

Once again, the Giants offense was a total disaster. The Giant’s lost their star running back Saquon Barkley as he tore his ACL. But the problem is Daniel Jones. Jones just hasn’t proved to be worthy. He has made a few good throws, but he’s been inconsistent.

The 23-year-old has thrown more interceptions(5) than touchdown passes(2). He also has a completion percentage of barely 60%. The Giant’s defense hasn’t been of too much help either, even with the recent signing of Logan Ryan. It’s been a tough few years for Giants’ fans, and it looks like it will be in the future as well.

The Ugly

Darius Slayton and Jalen Ramsey have had a bad history, and it shows on the field today. What happened? According to Ryan Dunleavy’s report:

Ramsey is the father of two of Tate’s young nieces, but he reportedly ended a long-term relationship with Tate’s sister Breanna Tate during her pregnancy last summer to date a Las Vegas dancer. Breanna Tate gave birth to Jalen Ramsey’s children in September 2019.

Tate later told The Post, “I’m not happy at all with the disrespect that he’s shown towards my sister, and the things he’s done in the past, but I don’t really want to go too much into it.”
