“I wish you get well and recovery soon”: Khabib Nurmagomedov wishes Liverpool Centre-back Virgil Van Dijk a Speedy Recovery
Khabib Nurmagomedov trained with Liverpool’s Virgil Van Dijk in the gym and later wished him a speedy recovery.
The still to be stripped undisputed Lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov is making rounds away from the Octagon. Earlier in the week, the Eagle hinted at a career switch to football and now has been seen training with one of the sport’s professionals.
On Friday, the 32-year-old posted a picture with dutch international Virgil Van Dijk on his Instagram handle. Van Dijk, who is in Dubai recuperating from a knee injury, met with Khabib, and the two trained together in a gym facility.

Khabib also took to Twitter to leave a get well soon note for Liverpool’s Centre-back.

Khabib Nurmagomedov: Fotball Fan
The UFC great is an ardent football fan, and in the past has shown support to clubs like Real Madrid and Liverpool. The Russian deems the English Premier League as the best football competition in the world. Moreover, in one of the media interactions, he even reminisced about Liverpool’s (EPL side) 2005 champions league heroics.

Will Khabib Return to UFC?
In the week gone by, speculations were rife about Khabib’s return, and UFC president Dana White on live TV disseminated that Khabib is waiting for something spectacular to take place at UFC 257. In the entire yes/no situation the MMA enthusiasts’ hopes started to build-up. There still exists a belief that the Octagon is yet to see more of Khabib Nurmagomedov, and the Eagle will return to get the 30-0 distinction.
Before the week, It seemed UFC matchmakers were eager to process the second leg of Conor Vs. Khabib but, apparently the result of Conor Vs. Dustin hampered all the plans.
In the post-event presser of UFC 257, Dana White hinted that Khabib is unlikely to return. So, the uncertainty about Khabib’s future is still at large. What do you think will he have another go at the biggest stage of MMA?
